Surf's Up, the third feature from Sony Pictures Animation is released in theaters everywhere in the US this Friday, June 8th. Score by Mychael Danna, I contributed additional music. Mychael and I went to London to record with an 80 piece orchestra as well as rock, jazz and island sessions with fantastic players. Recorded and mixed at Air Studios.

Feature films Fracture and the forthcoming Surf's Up, both with Mychael Danna; a new short film, Storage (music will show up soon) and various other projects have occupied the studio lately. Mychael Danna composed a beautiful score for Catherine Hardwicke's The Nativity Story. Large choirs, orchestra, early music instruments, ethnic soloists. It was a grand undertaking. I contributed additional arrangements. Out in theaters now.

I've been in ad-land lately. Did a variation on last years "theme" for a new Raymond James' ad- performed again by the Supernova Quartet. Those guys are fantastic. Also created music for two Pier 1 campaigns, and completed an Adidas spec spot. I've added a couple to the listening page- check it out.
